Tickets are sold for the two day performance for $25 each. On May 22, all two day ticket sales will end.  One-day tickets will be sold at the gate for $25 each day starting May 23rd.

Belvidere, Tennessee would like to welcome you to Jazz-South's Blues In Belvidere 2009!  Blues In Belvidere has started to pique interest on a national level and is rapidly gaining respect as a truly great event.  In order to continue this event, we need your help to keep things running smoothly. Please read through these concert and camping information sections and take note of all highlighted items.

Credit cards and debit cards are not accepted. Cash and checks with proper I.D. will be accepted for ticket payment.

 • The concert area will be closed to further admissions if capacity is reached.
 • Unauthorized sales, solicitation, and distribution are prohibited.

General Behavior:

The following general information, procedures and regulations have been devised for your own safety and protection. Strict enforcement of all laws and regulations will be necessary to insure that everyone enjoys their experience while at Jazz South.

Anyone found to be in violation of any law or regulation may be subject to prosecution and will be evicted from the event without refund of ticket. All local, state and federal laws are to be obeyed. Patrons under the age of 21 are not permitted to consume any alcoholic beverage while on the festival grounds.

Providing minors with alcohol is illegal. Use of illegal drugs, drunken and/or obnoxious activities and other forms of misbehavior will not be tolerated. All persons attending Jazz South do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by owners, managers, promoters, sponsors or others.
Please do not:
- trespass
- litter
- park illegally
Selling of any unauthorized merchandise or services is prohibited while on the Jazz South grounds. Anyone caught engaged in any such activity will be evicted from the event and prosecuted.

NO CHAIRS ON CONCERT FIELD UNTIL
AFTER 10 AM ON SATURDAY


Jazz South features festival style seating, with ample room for your lawn chair. For everyone’s safety, only lawn chairs will be allowed for reserving seating space on the concert field. SEATING
General Seating: lawn seating is available to all. We suggest you arrive early for best seating. You may bring blankets and low chairs. To assure good visibility for all patrons, tall chairs or umbrellas are only permitted toward the back of the concert area.
Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways and crosswalks! Your car will be
ticketed or towed.


Each spot to be reserved must be done so with a lawn chair only. (2 spots; 2 lawn chairs / 4 spots; 4 lawn chairs) No other markers will be allowed for reserving seating space (i.e. lawn blankets, rope, ribbon, caution tape, wooden or metal stakes, coolers, etc.).

Shade umbrellas, canopies or any obstruction limiting the views of spectators will not be permitted on the concert field. Jazz South management reserves the right to ask spectators to remove any items that obstruct viewing or that may be objectionable. Please respect the views of those seated behind you.

Concessions:

Beer, water, soft drinks and many different kinds of food are available during the concerts, all at reasonable prices.

Coolers-$10:

Coolers are allowed onto the concert field but must not have any glass containers inside.  Out of respect for our food vendors who have paid to set up and provide concessions, there is a $10 charge for each cooler coming in to the concert field.

Jazz South management reserves the right to inspect all coolers left on the concert field. Management accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items.


Exit Gates:
Anyone wishing to leave the concert area may do so at any time. Please note that you must have a valid "Jazz South" wristband to re-enter. State law prohibits anyone form leaving the concert area with alcohol containers. Please discard them in the trash cans before leaving the venue.


Designated Drivers:
Jazz South supports the Designated Driver concept. We urge you to decide in advance who will be your group’s designated driver. Please don’t drink and drive.
Security:
Security personnel are on duty around the clock throughout the grounds for the entire weekend. Your full cooperation with them will be greatly appreciated. Please report any incident requiring attention to either a uniformed Deputy Sheriff or to Event Staff personnel.

First Aid:
Fully equipped ambulances and a medical station are located near the Franklin County Rescue Squad by the main gate in the concert area. Please make note of their locations when you arrive. The medical station is staffed and equipped to handle minor injuries, accidents and other emergencies.

There is no fee for emergency medical services received on site. In the event of a problem, look for Jazz South Security Personnel. They will contact the medical staff to assist you. Over the counter medicines will not be provided at the medical station. Such items as aspirin, sun-screen, etc. may be purchased at the general store.

Weather:
The weather is usually sunny, with temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s. It is advisable to use sunscreen lotion and to drink plenty of water and other non-alcoholic beverages. Be prepared for sudden summer rains.

The show will go on if at all possible. If the conditions deteriorated to the point that the public’s safety is at risk, the show may be delayed, or canceled. Please listen to the directions given by announcers and security during such times.  This is a rain or shine event.


Handicapped:

Enter at the main concert parking gate unless otherwise directed by Jazz South staff.
Jazz South makes every attempt to be handicap accessible. Limited Handicapped Parking is available for those vehicles displaying the Handicap emblem in their windshield or on their license plates.


Handicap port-a-johns are located at each of the port-a-john areas. Due to the event being festival style seating, reserved Handicapped seating is not available. However, our event staff is always willing to help and assist you.


Pets:
Pets are prohibited on the concert grounds and are no longer allowed in the camping areas.

Food and Beverages:
A wide selection of your favorite foods and beverages are available, including hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and steak sandwiches, sausage, fries, ice cream, coffee, water, soft drinks, etc. Beer and ice are sold at several locations. (Beer will not be sold to anyone under the age of 21-Proof of age will be required.)
 

Souvenirs:
The Belvidere Market will also have snacks, beverages and other items for sale.

The Belvidere Market will have souvenirs for sale throughout the weekend. The Jazz South souvenir tent will be open only during concerts.
